JALT Code of Conduct | JALT Social Media Policy

The JALT Kyoto Chapter and ART SIG (Art, Research, and Teaching) are proud to introduce a joint event to be held online on May 19, 2024.

This event will explore the uses of visual art and other creative approaches in language teaching. If you have particularly successful activities, different ways of teaching, or classroom anecdotes, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for presenters to share successful lesson plans, interesting research outcomes, and teaching methods. These presentations can be on any topic – the goal is to share creativity and artistic approaches that fellow teachers may find useful as the new semester gets underway! Please prepare to speak for up to 30 minutes, plus 10 minutes for questions and discussion.

Please submit your presentation proposals, with the your name, email, affiliation, title, approximately 150 word abstract plus about 50 word biodata, by email to art@jalt.org  by Friday, April 19. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the organizers by email at art@jalt.org or kyoto@jalt.org

We look forward to hearing from you!
