ART in Kyoto – Creative Ideas for the Language Classroom: 19 May, 2024 online (Call for Presentations now open)

The JALT Kyoto Chapter and ART SIG (Art, Research, and Teaching) are proud to introduce a joint event to be held online on May 19, 2024.

This event will explore the uses of visual art and other creative approaches in language teaching. If you have particularly successful activities, different ways of teaching, or classroom anecdotes, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for presenters to share successful lesson plans, interesting research outcomes, and teaching methods. These presentations can be on any topic – the goal is to share creativity and artistic approaches that fellow teachers may find useful as the new semester gets underway!

Please submit your presentation proposals by email to art@jalt.org  by Friday, April 19. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the organizers by email at art@jalt.org or kyoto@jalt.org

We look forward to hearing from you!
